The Longhorn Foundation has been an instrumental part of Rancho Buena Vista's history since 1992. The Foundation was established as a Non-Profit Organization to help fund and support on-campus group activities throughout the school year.
The Foundation has been instrumental in helping obtain both private and government grants for RBV High School. In recent years, the organization helped organize and rally the community to secure funding through a Bond Initiative that secured the funds to complete the Stadium @ RBV.
Now, The Foundation sets its sights on funding programs, activities and even facilities upgrades during the most challenging economic times our school has ever seen.
As President of the Longhorn Foundation I am proud to announce that we have successfully launched our first website. We look forward to building even more materials to strengthen our abilities to communicate our efforts within our community.
The Longhorn Foundation’s mission is to help raise funds to improve the schools academic and extracurricular activities through fundraising and charitable contributions. As an alumni of RBV, I share a personal interest in the school and look forward to serving it’s best interest for many years to come.
Our efforts to improve the school and its environment provides the foundation for success that both Students and Staff at RBV need. Without the tools, support and success of quality staff to educate, enrich and propel the students of Rancho Buena Vista, both run the risk of falling short of their goals. And that is why we exist...to provide additional resources so we can Improve Campus Life for Students, Staff and Alumni.

Frank De Falco - VP
Frank has lived in North County for over 30 years. As a parent of RBV Frank has served many booster organizations for the last 25 years. His spirit for volunteering and commitment to helping generate revenue for The Foundation is second to none.
Wendi Kane - Treasurer
Wendi has served on the Board since 2009 and previously served on the RBV Little League board for six years. She has lived in the community for more than 20 years and currently has 2 children that attend RBV.
James Fielding - Secretary
James is also alumni of RBV, Class of '98. He went on to graduate from Cal State San Marcos and has remained active in the community since his days at RBV. As Secretary he serves an active roll within the Board of Directors and remains passionate for improving the on campus experience.
